This video is a very literal and exaggerated look at my own fears around the impacts of increasing virtual reality. Our music video felt like a great opportunity for wonderfully un-subtle commentary on the nature of technology and potential it has to enable us to exist immersed in virtual realities. I wanted to make a film about escapism, fantasies and our experience of ‘reality.’ The notion of reality takes on a very different tonality when the virtual is indistinguishable from our waking ‘real’ experience.
